I went to Summit in Decatur with high hopes, ready to sip something floral and feel something. What I wasn’t ready for? The all caps NO DOGS sign on the door. I get it. Not everyone is emotionally equipped for my fur child’s presence. Luckily, there’s a shaded outdoor seating area with umbrellas and breeze, so we still made it work.
Also, side note: parallel parking directly in front = anxiety spike. I did it, but it was a core memory.

The Coffee
Iced Lavender Latte (Oat Milk)
Very creamy. Like, extremely creamy. It was smooth and sweet but not super strong. More milk-forward than espresso-forward, which might be your vibe, but I like my lattes with a little more existential punch.
Lavender Cortado
leaned lighter on the roast, heavier on the lavender.

Dog-Friendliness Score
Dog Score: 5/10
Dogs are allowed outside, but don’t try to come here alone with your fur pup or else you won’t be able to go inside to order.
